Trianon Terrestrial Globe
For travelling around the world as in the 18th century
This globe fixed on an inclined brass axis. The map printed on a beige background is a reproduction of an original map of the celebrated cartographer Robert de Vaugondy, who was appointed cartographer and royal censor by king Louis XV. He produced two large globes, one celestial and the other terrestrial.
