Palette of pens and inks
This assortment consists of 6 inkwells containing inks of different colours (indigo, auburn, bordeaux, sienna, turquoise, green) and 2 dip pens (with nibs).
Dip pens with metal nibs succeeded goose feathers for handwriting during the 17th century. They are now used for calligraphy.
