Boîte à pilules "Marie-Antoinette"

This oval pill box decorated on its cover with a cursive monogram of Marie-Antoinette in gilt letters. The outline of the box is adorned with a garland of pink flowers and gilt leaves. This pill box matches the 'Marie-Antoinette' jar candle also sold in the Online Boutique.

The pattern of this pill box is the one used to decorate Marie-Antoinette's travel kit which was carried in a rectangular mahogany chest. It featured a porcelain tea service, a set of toiletries, writing accessories and other items that the queen wanted with her when she travelled.
