Mug in the "Marie-Antoinette" line

A modern, feminine cup

Combining sobriety of shape and the practicality of a handle large enough to hold comfortably, this mug is engraved with a monogram. The ceramic mug is specially designed for use in a microwave and dishwasher.

The design of this mug was guided by the desire to produce a contemporary shape evoking the "afternoon snacks" of today's Marie-Antoinettes. The mug forms part of a line designed by the Château de Versailles, and is decorated with a geometric monogram inset in a medallion which is itself part of a floral pattern. The monogram is inspired by a wall decoration in the boudoir of the Queen in the Petit Trianon.
