"Louis XIV" mug

This porcelain mug is decorated with a black-on-white stylised version of the silhouette of king Louis XIV. It matches the small dishes in the same line sold in the boutique. Compatible with a microwave and dishwasher.

The silhouette is inspired by the portrait of Louis XIV in his coronation costume painted by Hyacinthe Rigaud, a French painter who specialised in portraits. You can discover one of the two copies of this portrait in the Apollo Salon of the Château de Versailles.
