This trompe l'œil sticker shows a Louis XV style chair, its back decorated with delicate patterns surrounding a bird in flight. Some ornamental flocks of wool accompany the seat: your imagination will decide where to place them!

The Louis XV style (the period 1730 ' 1760) in furniture is a "feminine" style noted for its lightness, in contrast with the imposing Louis XIV style. You will notice this feature in numerous pieces of furniture belonging to the collections of the Château de Versailles with their shapely and slender legs.
