Willow picnic basket with large format polka-dot lining

This picnic basket has a fold-back cover in two parts. The inside is lined with red fabric decorated with white polka-dots. It contains a red tablecloth and serviettes decorated with white polka-dots, a white tea service and cutlery with white handles (4 spoons, 4 forks, 4 knives). The tea service consists of a white teapot (with a ladybird pattern), 4 matching cups and saucers, a milk jug and a sugar bowl.
Located between the Porte Saint-Antoine and the Grille de la Reine (Queen's Gate) and flanked by the Plain of Frogs where sheep and horses graze, the meadow known as the 'old nurseries of Saint-Antoine' is laid out as a picnic area.
