"Roses" line: spade

This small stainless-steel spade will enable you to dig the earth easily to make way for your seeds, seedlings and plants with root clumps. Decorated with a rose pattern, it matches other gardening items sold in the Boutique.

The rose was the favourite flower of Queen Marie-Antoinette. In the Trianon gardens you can admire its numerous varieties of old roses such as the pale pink "Cuisse de Nymphe Emue" (Excited Nymph's Thigh) or smell the scent of the "rosa centifolia" (100 leaves) rose bushes, a variety that accompanies the portrait of Marie-Antoinette in the paintings of Vigée-Lebrun.
