Toile de Jouy toiletry bag

This pretty toiletry bag with toile de Jouy motifs has a zipper and a striped cotton lining. Two models with different motifs and colours are available: The model on an anise background with a pink bow features floral motifs and music instruments, while the model on a raspberry background illustrates a picnic scene and farm work. Washable at 30°.

At 18th-century Versailles many dresses of Court ladies and the Trianon's tapestries were made of Jouy. You can see other prints at the Toile de Jouy Museum in Jouy-en-Josas (78), where the workshops were.
