"Rose Nattier" earrings
These glazed bronze earrings are made from dyed Keishi freshwater pearls. The clasp is a butterfly. Each petal is independent and can move delicately. Hand-made with the greatest care, each piece is unique.
The 'Rose Nattier' collection is inspired by the portrait of Manon Balletti, painted by Jean-Marc Nattier in 1757, in which the beauty of the model is highlighted by the rose pinned to her bodice. Jean-Marc Nattier (1685 ' 1766), was a French painter who in 1748 became the official portrait-painter to the Court of Louis XV. He painted outstanding figures of his time, such as the Maréchal de Saxe, and Ladies Henriette and Adelaïde, the king's daughters, whose portraits you can see in the Château de Versailles.
