Earrings with a red bow
This pair of stud earrings (with hooks on the back) consist of a ribbon incrusted with a flower and red Swarovski crystals from which hangs a drop of bronzed metal. All the parts of this piece of jewellery are made and assembled by hand, making it unique.
This earring makes reference to some portraits of women in the collections of the Palace of Versailles, notably the one of Marie-Antoinette painted by Jean-Baptiste Charpentier in 1770 and which features the celebrated motif of the ribbon that was very popular at the time.
